About Me

I’m a digital accessibility nerd, UX researcher, volunteer & intern HR extraordinaire, and former high school English teacher. My unique background leads me to highlight accessibility and consistency in everything I design – whether it’s a museum experience, onboarding process, lesson plan, mobile app, or website.

I’m currently on the Digital Accessibility Committee at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, where I facilitate staff trainings and create internal education materials regarding website accessibility and compliance to Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. I would love to work at a digital accessibility firm, helping other businesses and organizations expand their reach by making their content more accessible.

Additionally, I love user interviews, usability testing, exploring user flows, service design, and working with clients. Working at a design agency appeals to me because I’m excited by the variety of projects working in client services entails. I want to learn about lots of different industries and how products can best be designed for their specific user needs!

My eclectic background has given me many valuable transferrable skills (leadership, clear communication, empathy, public speaking, active listening, receptive to constructive feedback, etc.), and I am confident in – and excited about! – my ability to create meaningful, impactful, and accessible designs that will improve users’ lives.

In my spare time, I dance, sing, read, write, and play board games. I’m a UNC Chapel Hill graduate (#doubletarheel) and a devoted cat mom.
