I freelanced for Work From Here as a UX/Customer Researcher

“… having people on your team who are detail oriented self-starters is crucial – and Samantha fits that description perfectly. It was so helpful to truly rely on her to own the research portion of our project. I highly recommend Samantha for any design-thinking and UX-related project and hope to work with her again very soon.”

About Me

I’m Samantha: a UX Researcher, information desk receptionist, and former high school English teacher. My unique background leads me to highlight accessibility and consistency in everything I design – whether it’s a museum experience, lesson plan, mobile app, or website.

I love user interviews, usability testing, exploring user flows, service design, and working with clients. Working at a design agency is my dream because I’m excited by the variety of projects working in client services entails. I want to learn about lots of different industries and how products can best be designed for their specific user needs!

My eclectic background has given me many valuable transferrable skills (leadership, clear communication, empathy, public speaking, active listening, receptive to constructive feedback, etc.), and I am confident in – and excited about! – my ability to create meaningful and impactful designs that will improve users’ lives.
